Lindsey and Joe had hoped to reinact "The Proposal" there was rain in the forecast but we mutually decided to chance it since it had rained all summer long it seemed. We packed up our gear and headed in to the woods for a hike to the spot. After about 15 minutes of walking thru a dark section of woods the first drop was detected! Once we got to the clearing it was full on rain. I was able to protect my camera and took a few seconds to create the first image which I love. It reminds me of a scene from "The Notebook". A few days later we headed to the beach and got a few more casual pics. As you can see this couple has an adventureous side the No Tresspasing sign was just too much for them to ignore. (Actually we where still on a public beach where we where but it was fun making it look like we where not).

Over the years I have been lucky enough to have great clients who pass on the good word and a magnitude of inquiries for weddings that I only had dreamed of. In order to provide the quality that each one of my couples and their guests deserves I have decided to limit the amount of weddings and events I photograph to 20 events in upcoming years. I'm love photographing weddings and get several inquiries per date. Many studios deal with this senerio by hiring part-time stringers (with or without the couples knowledge) to maximize profits. I just can't do that. Mind you I have excellent back up photographers should I become sick or injured, but I am first an artist and a business person second. I personally will consult, photograph, edit and design every event. This may not make me the cheapest photographer around but I'm striving for the best!

One of my favorite afternoons off is a trip to the zoo with my camera. It is my way of relaxing and I get the same thrill that most people get from a good afternoon with an addicting video game. Animals are unpredictable however the added challenge is part of the fun! Many couples sheepishly ask me if it is okay to bring along a pet, but for Anthony who is engaged to Megan it was two co-workershe brought along who ironically showed both their professional and playful sides during our session. There even seems be a liitle forbidden workplace romance going on! Check it out!
